Baked Parmesan Carrot Fries

Prep time: 10 mins Cook time: 20 mins Total time: 30 mins

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 large carrots
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 6 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper

PREPARATION

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Slice carrots into long thin pieces, about the size of a french fry.
  3. In a small bowl mix egg and water.
  4. In separate smaller bowl place Parmesan.
  5. Dip the carrot stick into the egg mixture, roll in Parmesan, and black on baking tray.
  6. Repeat until try is full and sprinkle with salt and pepper. 
  7. Place in the oven for 15-20 minutes, turning the carrots over at the half way mark or when they become golden.
  8. Take out and enjoy!
