A traditional style modeled after the Colonial era emphasizing on comfort and warmth. It also is refereed to as "updated classic" blending classic and contemporary styles. Featuring the use of symmetry to create a calm orderly decor. Colors are mid-tones, meaning it can be any color but not to dark or too light, just in the middle. Ionic decor includes simple floral, solids, stripes or plaids, molding and trims, lots of rugs, fine woodwork, vases, bowls, skirted furniture, still-life oil paintings, crystal chandelier, and candle stands.
