Vegetarian Recipes We Love

Going vegetarian might be trendy this year but its something everyone really should try. Cutting down on meat even just once a week is it good for you, animals, the environment, and the human race.  It's your body, your decision but if you ever want to learn more about the meat industry I highly recommend reading Fast Food Nation or watching documentary by Leonard DiCaprio called Before the Flood.

At first going vegetarian can be tough especially if you're trying to lose weight. Most dishes include carbs. However, I personally have not gained any weight and I've cut down on my workouts too.  I still understand the carbs concern so we've also tested carb-free dishes. All the recipes below we've tried and made the men in our life try too.

I'm personally obsessed with this recipe from Kirbie's Cravings.  On average I have it two or three times a week. If you want to change things up I recommend adding some Parmesan cheese but its just as good without it. You do need to purchase a vegetable spiralizer, which is well worth it, this is the one we used. The prep and ingredients are easy and quick so we give this recipe 5/5 for easiness and 4/5 for taste. Only because not everyone is zucchini fan but if you are you're sure to fall in love.

It also isn't as filling as we expected so we recommend cooking up some veggies on the side. We give this recipe a 4/5 for easiness and 3.5/5 for tastiness
